So today's the last day of 2007. Where are you kids going tonight? I've never gone anywhere to celebrate the new year. Well maybe 5 or 6 years ago I did go to Singapore. But that's just about it. I'm not realy a crowd person. Not even at weddings. God. All the people, the sweating, the noise. Heheh.
And I don't suppose I'm gonna start this year. With the luck I've had this year, I'd probably just end up watching the fireworks from inside my car, while crawling in a massive traffic jam.
Oh, I'm forgetting something. Tonight Zufri's uncle (!) is having a birthday celebration! Ahhahahah so I guess there IS reason to celebrate, yeah? We're invited to the bash, and the best thing is Zufri's eager to go. Oh how I wish I could wriggle my way out of this one...
Ujie kata ofis ni memang ada satu ritual di mana setiap new year's eve budak-budak ofis aku akan mabuk beramai-ramai di ofis, bermula pada jam 4 petang (dan kami yang bukan pemabuk dibenarkan pulang awal, hahaha). Sekarang sudah 3:50 petang, dan diorang sudah mula nampak gelisah. Tapi kepala diorang, John dah takde! Mingkinkah tahun ini perkara tersebut tidak akan berulang?! Nooooo!!!!!! Aku mahu pulang awal!!!!!

Today BIL's auntie is staying with them (us), and turns out she'll be staying in my room! And so Zuf and I terpaksa merempat pegi rumah lama dia, hehe. What a life, kan? But the good news is, that we have found a house we both sort of like, which is almost directly behind his old house! Hahaha. Tak boleh nak berjauhan dengan the boys. But we're still looking. This weekend we have an appointment with the agent to look inside. But I guess it'd look just like his old house, lah kan? It's a double storey terrace house, intermediate lot. Yang kadang-kadang memeningkan adalah perjalanan pulang dari ofis nanti, pasal jalan tu sedikit jam di waktu balik kerja dan balik sekolah.
OK. Apart from that, I've been sending out two Pos Laju-s this week. One is to Pops. I bought him some salted fish from Tanjung Dawai. Gila tak ikan kurau kering dia cuma RM8.00 jek sekor! Kalau dekat sini, menurut sumber, dekat RM30.00! Semalam tengok kat Giant, ikan tenggiri dia kecik-kecik je, tapi yang kat sana, besar giles and harga lebih kurang jek! Tanjung Dawai tu memang perkampungan nelayan, so everything's dirt cheap. Hehe.
The other one is to my make up person in Sungai Petani. Boleh tak aku bawak balik rambut palsu dia balik KL. Time aku nak mengepos tadi kan, orang Pos tu tanya nak hantar apa, so aku tunjukla kotak yang berbungkus kertas A4 putih tu. Abis dia tanya apa ada dalam kotak tu? Kui kui kui serious aku tergelak bila aku mengatakan yang aku hantar rambut palsu! Heh heh. Not a daily occurence, I suppose.
Hmm what else yes? Oh let me tell you about my time in Sungai Petani. It was heavenly. Why, know? Because I'm considered a guest, I'm forbidden from doing any housework. Biasalah, kenalah tunjuk rajin depan ibu mertuaku, kan. I can't even linger downstairs, where evryone is! To me, that is a blessing because I never know what to say to Zuf's (hundreds) aunties and cousins, hehe. So I just stay upstairs in bed, tucked nicely with a book.
After the reception, still it was like that. Kalau dekat JB, humph, harus aku kena maki hamun kalau aku buat perangai macam tu. Kui kui kui. Nak cuci pinggan pun dihalang. Hahahahahaha. Alhamdulillah, the reception went well. Makanan, door gift, bunga telur apa semua, semuanya habis! Guests keep pouring in until 6.30, and some kept coming at night and even on Sunday. Which means, I had to recycle the two pairs of baju kurung I brought with me from Thursday untillah Monday.
Then on Sunday we went to Penang and met up with Zuf's friends who couldn't make it to our wedding. And later was a visit to Wan Rose's. Dayang and Mat was there, so we had lots of fun gossiping and catching up. Dayang kan, she bought me this very fluffy pink and black corset from Manchester as my wedding gift! Very Moulin Rouge! Very cantik! And the card! It's from La Senza (the card, not the corset). Dekat sini ada ke kad La Senza? Cantik sangat. Thank you very much, Cik Dayang.
On Tuesday we shot back to KL around noon, stopped at hentian Gua Tempurung and had late lunch by the river. Chewah. Tapau nasik lemak dari rumah mak dia. Nasib baik tak basi. Nanti aku upload gambar aku makan di Gua Tempurung, heh heh. Malam ni kan aku nak tido dekat rumah diorang, so adalah internet connection. Harap-harap tak semua PC occupied.
Eh, gila OK hari ni aku buat kerja cepat gila. Habis dah kerja. Takde benda dah nak buat. Tu yang aku boleh bersenang lenang mengemaskini blog aku. Lepas ni aku nak buat kira-kira suka-suka. Projek ofis, tapi tak perlu buat pun. But since I wanna look like I'm doing something, and since it's good to know how much a square foot of something costs, it gives me extreme pleasure.

Nurse yang menyakitkan hati.
I'm supposed to be at the clinic right now, but the nurse there just pisses me off! So I'm back at the office. Haha. So not in a stable emotional state right now.
Can't believe 2007 is coming to an end, yeah? A lot happened this year. First of all, this is the year I got engaged! Yay! Haha. Then we moved house, from Desa Petaling to Kelana Jaya. Then we moved house again, from no. 27 to no. 29. August was when I submitted my resignation letter after 3 years of hard labour, hehe. Then 1st October I started working here, at my current company. 16th November I got married. 17th November & 22nd December we had our wedding receptions.
However, no trips anywhere, no honeymoon, no cuti-cuti Malaysia. Oh well, I sincerely don't really mind that.
And guess what? Remember that I used to sell sandwiches, cakes and cookies? Well, I'm resuming my bussiness. Taulah, duit bukan senang nak dapat, kan? Will be selling them in Putrajaya. I don't know why I haven't thought of it sooner. Well, dire situation calls for drastic actions!
Ahh..never has the road ahead seem more clear than it does right now.

Tonight I'll be having drinks with Anies at Section 14. Long time no see her. Long time no lepak malam. She's bringing her laptop, so we'll be a couple of poseurs friendstering at Starbucks. Heh heh. Can't wait. Finally, yeah?

Christmas Lunch
Yay yay besok cuti! Cuti sampai Krismas! Yay yay.
Yesterday's dinner was fun. Had my first taste of Big Apple Donuts. Very soft and very very verrrrrry delicious. When we came, there was no queue yet, but by the time we left The Curve, the line was miles long!
Our colleagues were as usual, drinking themselves silly. Lau my cubicle mate had margarita. Hahaha. Boleh? I call her Lau Margarita now. Then they showed a slideshow of collection of pictures. Most of them were photographed drunk. Hahahaha. Tak senonoh diorang ni.
I had the calamari squid for appetizer. I ordered their buffalo wings actually, but when I returned from the toilet turned out somebody stole my buffalo wings! Hmph. Thank God I liked the squid better. The main course was chicken parmesan. Ujie yang orderkan sebenarnya, pasal masa order tu I wasn't in the office. OKlah. Very very filling. I ate half. Rested. Then ate half of the remaining half. Then I surrendered.
But I fought again with desert, which was the Friday Sundae. What?! Friday ke Sunday? Wakakaka. Lame.
Then today got free lunch lagik. Big boss pulak belanja. Sort of Christmas lunchlah, complete with Christmas songs and of course, Christmas tree! With a whole buch of gifts underneath! Yay! Can't wait for the gift exchange! Hmm..it's supposed to start now.
Hahahaha I'll update later. Hope I'll get something menarik tertarik!
OK. Updated. I got a water bottle. Very nice, but I just bought one for myself when I started working here. Takpelah. TQVMuch. Oh, berbual-bual lagi dengan A-Fai. Kacaknya dia. Hehehe.
Speaking of A-Fai, hehe, Zufri's back from Sabah already. Takde beli apa-apa pun untuk aku. Hmpfh. So tonight we'll drive up to SP for our wedding reception this Saturday. Can't wait to get everything over and done with. It's almost time to go home, anyway.

Boringlah hari ni kat ofis. Satu hari aku cirit birit. Huh. Time cirit birit betul-betul takdenya nak pegi jumpa doktor mintak MC. Nak, tapi keja banyak. Dapat pulak aku cuti Jumaat & Isnin. Hihihi cuti panjang.
Benda macam ni selalu jadik kat aku sebenarnya. Time kerja gila-gila banyaklah aku jatuh sakit, walaupun sikit-sikit namun bolehla MC. Haha. Apalah motif cerita ini?
I so need a new pair of jeans. But I refuse to wear a size bigger than 29! Nooooo!!!! I've lasted so long, living in denial. Tapi sekarang terpaksa! My Perfect Jeans is torn is 3 places already. The crotch (which I've managed to fasten with 2 safety pins, haha) and two more on my thighs. Macam mana tau yang peha tu boleh koyak? Aku nak duduk, so tarikla area peha tu. Punyalah dah lusuh dan lembut, tarik macam tu je dah koyak! Hahahaha. Haih lemah betullah.
No time to jog, slowly but surely dieting. Tapi tanpa exercise sama juga, dok? Untuk menyedapkan hati aku, at least the parking lot and my office is quite a distance away. And I take the stairs, hurting knee notwithstanding. Sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadik bukit.
Ish tension pulak cerita pasal berat badan ni. Dapat pulak kakak kakak aku sume kurus-kurus belaka.
Oh, besok ada valuation lagi. Factory visit nak check material off-site plak. Boleh? Kecoh siot diorang ni buat keja.

Hello hello. Today we're having dinner at TGIF, The Curve. Boss' treat. Hahaha. Again. Seronoklah kerja sini. Yesterday I went to Jaya to buy something for our Christmas gift exchange thingie tomorrow. The budget was RM15, so I bought this teeny weeny mini hamper from Famous Amos. Haha just a mug stuffed with chocolate and a Santa soft toy. But I like it very much, and you know lah how people are always saying you should get people what you would want to get for yourself. So I left Jaya feeling very satisfied.
Can't wait to get my Christmas gift.
To those reading, I'm not celebrating Christmas spiritually. Aiyoh no need to justify to you all lah. Just a thing organised by my cubic mate, Lau. Haha hari-hari dia remind aku suruh beli hadiah. Semangat minah ni. She's also in charge of the toilet papers. Hahaha. Budak USM. Hahaha.

Masalah lagi..
Jumaat lepas ada valuation dekat satu kondominium 42 tingkat ni. Aku pegi dengan beberapa senior, dan kitorang naik lif tergantung tu sampai tingkat 42. Lepas tu boleh tak diorang singgah check setiap tingkat?! 42 tingkat OK?! Serius. Pecah lutut aku. Macam orang tua-tua macam tu. Argh! Macam mana aku nak tingkatkan performance lutut aku ni? Bulan depan kena buat valuation lagik!
Oleh kerana itu, petangnya aku MC. Hahaha. Doktor yang bagi, OK. Aku tak mintak pun. So kitorang pun balik JB around 3:30 pm.
Zufri tekan abis-abis minyak, adalah mencecah 150-160 km/j. Kelisa je tu. Sekali kat Yong Peng kitorang tengok jarum rpm tu dah melayang-layang, dah tak terikat dengan kelajuan kereta. Aku ingat dia rosak, rupanya bila Zufri masuk gear lima, tekan minyak macam tak masuk gear. Paham tak maksud aku? Macam korang tengah free gear, sekali kau tekan minyak.
Gear box rosak daaaa. Jadik dari Yong Peng ke JB slowla kitorang bawak. Adala dalam 70-80 km/j. Gear 5 takleh masuk. Gear 4 pun kengkadang dia tendang, kengkadang bole masuk. Terpancar kecuakan di wajah Zufri. Aku biasa jek. Bukan salah aku, kan? Hahahaha.
Malam tu pegi wedding Syahirah. Sangat meriah. Sangat banyak bergambar, tapi aku tak bawak kamera. Kamera aku rosak, kan? Malas nak layan dah. Lepas tu hari Sabtu pegi servis keta. Patut lepas wedding Shirot tu kitorang nak balik KL terus pasal Sabtu tu wedding Abg Romy. Tak pegilah kkitorang ke wedding tersebut.
Yang horrornya pasal wedding tu kan, anak Abg. Mamat, Amin, he sort of went missing. The whole ceremony came to a halt since everyone went looking for Amin. Gile stole the limelight. And the most shocking thing is he was found at a graveyard some 8km away! Amin said a man took him there, and when he refused to follow him any further he scolded Amin gila-gila until he wet his pants. Amin ni ganas budaknya, so bila dia kencing dalam seluar ni mesti kes yang sangat berat.
Very horrifying. Wish I was there, haahaha. Silap-silap aku yang kena culik. Wakakaka.

My Wedding Day

Yay! Shopping trip!
Just finished reading Kazuo Ishikuro's Never Let Me Go. Quite a good read, I think. Very er.. haunting. Read that with a little bit of Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason on Tuesday, as left other book in the office. Oooppss. Writing style have changed into Bridge's diary. V.cool. Haha.
Tonight my bestfriend from high school's getting hitched! Well congratulations to Syahirah! Been keeping in touch with her quite a lot nowadays. Ahhh..the good ol' days. Kutuk, ngumpat dan gossip. Not a good pastime, but a pastime nevertheless.
Bad thing is, her reception is tomorrow night. And seeing that I've used up all my leave for this year, and five of next year's (aarrrggghhhh!) I decided to play sick tomorrow and get an MC. Hehehe. Used to do that all the time in previous company. Remember, I AM a good actress. Haha.
But today team leader called and said since I'm taking over this project from Chin Chin, I should go do the valuation tomorrow morning. Arghhh. Bongok betullah. I'm now at a crossroad. Will figure out tonight.
Good thing is, Chin Chin will be there as well, so I'm not the only representative from company. Bad things is I'll be at a total loss when I finally do the valuation on my own.
Oh, tonight we're going to OU, because Zufri needs some new threads for his trip to Sabah. We have this gift voucher from Parkson, so that's where we'll shop. Can't wait to go shopping! Kalau ikutkan aku, nak aje aku habiskan semua RM250 tu beli baju Zufri. Tapi dia suruh simpan untuk beli barang rumah. Huh? Barang apa lah kan yang boleh dibeli dari Parkson?
And back to my story about the dead body yesterday, nothing was reported. So I don't really know what happened. So anti climax, kan? Haha.
I always get shouted at over the phone by Pops nowadays. Staying with my sister does not make me her guardian. Really pissed off. Should just shout at her direct. So unfair.
Look at my collection of random stories and rants. I should write short stories. It's already 4:30. One hour to go! I've got a lot of work. Can not claim overtime though. Where's the fun in working, then?

Ooohhhh..hot piece of gossip.
Tadi pagi sebelum pegi kerja, aku pegi isi minyak tau kat Shell SS3 tu. At the end of my row of houses, almost directly in front of the mini tokong at the side of the road, was a bag very much like the one used to stuff Nurin Jazlin and some newspapers. I was of course intrigued, but decided to go to Shell first. Then only did I realize, that of course underneath the newspapers was a dead body! That's why there was a crowd surrounding the bag! Apalah sangat beg tu kan, yang pentingnya haruslah yang berada di bawah suratkhabar tersebut!
Was a bit scared, since most of the people making up the crowd were indians. What if it was the beginning of yet another racial clash, right smack in the middle of Kelana Jaya? Mind you, all our neighbours are indians. Except for the pakcik at the corner in front.
Don't you just feel.. scared of the way things are going in Malaysia? The politicians with their political agendas, what with the upcoming elections and all. Am not really well read in terms of politics as I really truly believe in the goodness of humankind. Hahahaha. Boleh tak keluar ayat macam tu.
Yesterday I didn't have to work, so I tagged along with Zufri to Putrajaya. Then had lunch at Johnny's OU. Suddenly Nathan, my contractor from my previous company called and invited me to lunch at Armada today. I changed it to tea at 6:00. Ada lagi ke tea ke dah consider dinner eh? Am going to call him soon to change to Starbucks Giant KJ. Why? Because it's almost Christmas, and I haven't had their specials for Christmas yet! Mana boleh?!
It's hard you know, being married. Dulu time weekend boleh pegi lepak sorang-sorang. Sekarang, nak keluar sorang Zufri terasa. Nak ajak Zufri, it's my alone time. So ended out melepak di rumah. I still haven't gone to Old Town White Coffee's new branch in Kelana Mall!
Oh, Zufri's going to Sabah on Monday right up till Wednesday. Maybe I can go then. And not feel guilty.

Oh, Warisan Delima
Eh akak cleaner ni. Bergayut pulak dia kat sebelah aku. Boleh? Aku hairan betul dengan tempat duduk aku ni. Asal orang nak bergayut, mesti lepak tempat aku. Borak kuat-kuat pulak tu. Apa, tempat aku ni selesa sangat ke? Hehe memang selesa pun.
Sanding dekat Sungai Petani is in two weeks' time. Aku baru submit bprang cuti. Takut sebenarnya nak submit awal-awal. Hahahaha pasal cuti aku dah -5 hari! Abislah aku. Bila gap dia dah terlalu lama, aku rasa macam sangat malas nak bergembira lagik. Seri pengantin tu dah hilang, hehe if it was there in the first place lah.
* Weh serious makcik ni gayut lama! Serious sangat kuat yang aku rasa satu office dengar dan satu office simpati pada diriku.
Nak lunch dah ni. Hari-hari aku lunch. Tadi aku breakfast chapati sama kuah kima kambing. Sangat lazat, tapi memandangkan semalam aku makan daging juga, ini hari aku sangat pening melayang-layang kepala.
p/s:Lunch kat tempat aku ni sangat mahal. Makan nasik separuh, dengan ikan goreng = RM4.00! Gila? Kalau makan telur mata sama bergedel pulak = RM3.50. Boleh?

Today is Kak Yen's last day at DHL. Tonite she's going back to JB with Adam, naik train. How cool.
Today is Papa's birthday! Happy Birthday Pops! He's 59, but doesn't look a day over 45! Hehe tipu gila.
This weekend, I'll be doing nothing. Haha just like last weekend. Oh, mungkin boleh ajak Zufri pegi menderma darah. The last time we donated blood was in August. The last time before August, I almost fainted when I was done donating. Had something to do with my blood pressure.
Hehe Ujie and I went to Guardian at lunch time. Dia beli pregnancy test kit. Hahaha. Can't wait for her results, since her intuitions say that she's pregnant. Hahhaahaha.

To answer your questions, The Sun bought us dinner last night.
Hahaha. Turns out he's not mad at me, but at Kak Yen! Hahaha. Kesian Kak Yen menjadi mangsa.
And by the way, I just got a whole stack of drawings from Miss Tang. The whole building needs to be re-measured.
And Ujie just informed me of a possible freelance job. The whole re-measurement of two types of bungalows for only RM800.00! Geez. So not worth my time and effort.
Hehe. But I COULD use the dough. Bagi jeklah.

Bukan Gigi buat. Adam buat.
Something bad happened yesterday.
Aku telah menyebabkan tangan Si Adam terseliuh, and probably fractured!
Macam ni ceritanya. Masa akak aku dan Zufri berjumpa dengan sang francais, akulah yang harus menjaga Si Adam. Lalu aku berjalan-jalan, berdokong-dokong, bersuap-supan. Di akhir perjumpaan, aku terasa seperti ingin mengangkat Si Adam (sebenarnya agak kerap aku lakukan) dengan berpaut pada pergelangan tangannya.
Apabila aku melepaskannya, dia menjerit-jerit kesakitan! So the meeting ended, and we took Adam to the clinic. I thought the doctor'd just give him some cream, tapi sekali dia balut daa tangannya Si Adam! But the doctor said not to worry, because kalau betullah tangan dia fractured, dah menangis melalak tanpa henti dah Si Adam itu.
By this time, I was feeling very sorry for myself, not Adam. Hehe. The biggest hurdle is waiting at home, a.k.a The Sun (brother-in-law). He's one hell of a hot-tempered man, and a pretty huge one at that! RReally nasty. Given the fact that I'm staying at their place, hopefully till the end of December, what I'm afraid most is that kami akan dihalau! Anyway, taknaklah kan ada bad blood with family members.
Masa Kak Yen bagi penerangan dekat The Sun, dia senyap jek. Stared at oblivion. Sekali dia terus bangun dan cabut pegi klinik. I waited until Si Adam was asleep, or almost asleep, then I went to sleep myself, al the time shivering in fear. Seriously. That's how scared I am of The Sun.
Later, (as told by Kak Yen for I was sound asleep by tehn) they went to get Si Adam's hand x-rayed in Assunta Hospital! Turns out The Sun gave the doctor at the clinic and earful of maki hamun and what nots on why Si Adam's hand wasn't x-rayed in the first place. In my humble opinion, I think we should just listen to the doctor because that's what he does for a living. But then again, with so many injuries under his belt (haha), maybe The Sun knew better.
Apa-apa pun, x-ray tidak menunjukkan apa-apa. Diorang ada appointment susulan dengan doktor di Hospital Assunta petang ni. Dengan izin Allah, semuanya akan selamat. I have a picture of Si Adam with his bandaged hand. Will try to post it soon.
I think I'm not going home so early tonight. You know. Just in case I should run into The Sun. I'd better start looking for Papa's birthday gift.
