So today's the last day of 2007. Where are you kids going tonight? I've never gone anywhere to celebrate the new year. Well maybe 5 or 6 years ago I did go to Singapore. But that's just about it. I'm not realy a crowd person. Not even at weddings. God. All the people, the sweating, the noise. Heheh.
And I don't suppose I'm gonna start this year. With the luck I've had this year, I'd probably just end up watching the fireworks from inside my car, while crawling in a massive traffic jam.
Oh, I'm forgetting something. Tonight Zufri's uncle (!) is having a birthday celebration! Ahhahahah so I guess there IS reason to celebrate, yeah? We're invited to the bash, and the best thing is Zufri's eager to go. Oh how I wish I could wriggle my way out of this one...
Ujie kata ofis ni memang ada satu ritual di mana setiap new year's eve budak-budak ofis aku akan mabuk beramai-ramai di ofis, bermula pada jam 4 petang (dan kami yang bukan pemabuk dibenarkan pulang awal, hahaha). Sekarang sudah 3:50 petang, dan diorang sudah mula nampak gelisah. Tapi kepala diorang, John dah takde! Mingkinkah tahun ini perkara tersebut tidak akan berulang?! Nooooo!!!!!! Aku mahu pulang awal!!!!!
Oh well. Nantikan saja update, OK? Anyway, happy new year boys and girls.

Today BIL's auntie is staying with them (us), and turns out she'll be staying in my room! And so Zuf and I terpaksa merempat pegi rumah lama dia, hehe. What a life, kan? But the good news is, that we have found a house we both sort of like, which is almost directly behind his old house! Hahaha. Tak boleh nak berjauhan dengan the boys. But we're still looking. This weekend we have an appointment with the agent to look inside. But I guess it'd look just like his old house, lah kan? It's a double storey terrace house, intermediate lot. Yang kadang-kadang memeningkan adalah perjalanan pulang dari ofis nanti, pasal jalan tu sedikit jam di waktu balik kerja dan balik sekolah.
OK. Apart from that, I've been sending out two Pos Laju-s this week. One is to Pops. I bought him some salted fish from Tanjung Dawai. Gila tak ikan kurau kering dia cuma RM8.00 jek sekor! Kalau dekat sini, menurut sumber, dekat RM30.00! Semalam tengok kat Giant, ikan tenggiri dia kecik-kecik je, tapi yang kat sana, besar giles and harga lebih kurang jek! Tanjung Dawai tu memang perkampungan nelayan, so everything's dirt cheap. Hehe.
The other one is to my make up person in Sungai Petani. Boleh tak aku bawak balik rambut palsu dia balik KL. Time aku nak mengepos tadi kan, orang Pos tu tanya nak hantar apa, so aku tunjukla kotak yang berbungkus kertas A4 putih tu. Abis dia tanya apa ada dalam kotak tu? Kui kui kui serious aku tergelak bila aku mengatakan yang aku hantar rambut palsu! Heh heh. Not a daily occurence, I suppose.
Hmm what else yes? Oh let me tell you about my time in Sungai Petani. It was heavenly. Why, know? Because I'm considered a guest, I'm forbidden from doing any housework. Biasalah, kenalah tunjuk rajin depan ibu mertuaku, kan. I can't even linger downstairs, where evryone is! To me, that is a blessing because I never know what to say to Zuf's (hundreds) aunties and cousins, hehe. So I just stay upstairs in bed, tucked nicely with a book.
After the reception, still it was like that. Kalau dekat JB, humph, harus aku kena maki hamun kalau aku buat perangai macam tu. Kui kui kui. Nak cuci pinggan pun dihalang. Hahahahahaha. Alhamdulillah, the reception went well. Makanan, door gift, bunga telur apa semua, semuanya habis! Guests keep pouring in until 6.30, and some kept coming at night and even on Sunday. Which means, I had to recycle the two pairs of baju kurung I brought with me from Thursday untillah Monday.
Then on Sunday we went to Penang and met up with Zuf's friends who couldn't make it to our wedding. And later was a visit to Wan Rose's. Dayang and Mat was there, so we had lots of fun gossiping and catching up. Dayang kan, she bought me this very fluffy pink and black corset from Manchester as my wedding gift! Very Moulin Rouge! Very cantik! And the card! It's from La Senza (the card, not the corset). Dekat sini ada ke kad La Senza? Cantik sangat. Thank you very much, Cik Dayang.
On Tuesday we shot back to KL around noon, stopped at hentian Gua Tempurung and had late lunch by the river. Chewah. Tapau nasik lemak dari rumah mak dia. Nasib baik tak basi. Nanti aku upload gambar aku makan di Gua Tempurung, heh heh. Malam ni kan aku nak tido dekat rumah diorang, so adalah internet connection. Harap-harap tak semua PC occupied.
Eh, gila OK hari ni aku buat kerja cepat gila. Habis dah kerja. Takde benda dah nak buat. Tu yang aku boleh bersenang lenang mengemaskini blog aku. Lepas ni aku nak buat kira-kira suka-suka. Projek ofis, tapi tak perlu buat pun. But since I wanna look like I'm doing something, and since it's good to know how much a square foot of something costs, it gives me extreme pleasure.

Nurse yang menyakitkan hati.
I'm supposed to be at the clinic right now, but the nurse there just pisses me off! So I'm back at the office. Haha. So not in a stable emotional state right now.
Can't believe 2007 is coming to an end, yeah? A lot happened this year. First of all, this is the year I got engaged! Yay! Haha. Then we moved house, from Desa Petaling to Kelana Jaya. Then we moved house again, from no. 27 to no. 29. August was when I submitted my resignation letter after 3 years of hard labour, hehe. Then 1st October I started working here, at my current company. 16th November I got married. 17th November & 22nd December we had our wedding receptions.
However, no trips anywhere, no honeymoon, no cuti-cuti Malaysia. Oh well, I sincerely don't really mind that.
And guess what? Remember that I used to sell sandwiches, cakes and cookies? Well, I'm resuming my bussiness. Taulah, duit bukan senang nak dapat, kan? Will be selling them in Putrajaya. I don't know why I haven't thought of it sooner. Well, dire situation calls for drastic actions!
Ahh..never has the road ahead seem more clear than it does right now.

Ahh..what a weekend. I came back all rested and rejuvenated, hehe.
It's suddenly raining outside. Just when I thought I'd take the bus home. Aww shucks! (Weird ey? I don't say aww shucks in real life, so why do I type it out?)
Tonight I'll be having drinks with Anies at Section 14. Long time no see her. Long time no lepak malam. She's bringing her laptop, so we'll be a couple of poseurs friendstering at Starbucks. Heh heh. Can't wait. Finally, yeah?
